Kent2600 Home

Hello and welcome to the Kent2600 Website!

Kent2600 is one of a number of the 2600 meetings which happen around the UK. The first meetings have been organised by a couple of people who are in the area of Kent and wished they didn't have to travel to London for a geek meet.

The Kent2600 meeting is a place to meet up and talk to fellow geeks about computer security, physical security, retro computing platforms, virtualisation, CPU architectures, parallel processing, electronics, networking, high performance computing, high availability services, public transport, exploits ... in fact anything related to technology!

The meetings are held on the first Friday of every month, 6:30PM, at the end of the bus station opposite Wilkinsons , Canterbury, Kent. Also we sometimes hold KentNot2600 meetings in the middle of the month if people could not attend the main meet or if people want to meet up for activities. These are entirely unofficial, and organised ad-hoc.

If you have some information you'd like featured on the Kent2600 website, please email webmaster [AT] kent2600.org.uk and a trained monkey will be dispatched to evaluate your request!

We tend to post events on Upcoming and you can subscribe to the Kent2600 Group Feed, as well as join it if you so desire.

We're going to meet at the bus station this time - this is reasonably central (as opposed to the stations), and gives us good access to stuff in town when we want to head off.

Next Meeting, 4th January 2008

You heard right. The next meeting is next to the steps outside BHS near Marlowe Arcade, Whitefriars, Canterbury, at 7:30PM. We will move on from there.
